Bromley Churchill Theatre, February 14th-17th
Shakespeare’s classic story of prophesies, ambition, murder, fate and consequence is told in a new version by the Quarter Too Ensemble. This intimate production will bring you up close to Macbeth as he grapples with possibility and fate. Follow him as his vaulting ambition for curtain power drives his hands to become stained by deeds that no water will clear him of.
Quarter Too’s small and versatile cast share the storytelling of a concise version of Shakespeare’s text, complete with original music. The audiences imagination is enlisted to bring to life the human interactions close enough to touch that drive us to question the inevitability of fate and the possible consequences of reaching for something within our grasp.
